RACE Rx services have been extended to athletes of all levels ranging from weekend-warriors to elite and professional.

RACE Rx Sports Conditioning

Sports conditioning camps for young athletes are held year-round at our research and training center in Logan, Utah. This program focuses on developing functional movement, agility, and sport-specific fitness. Our aim is to provide developing athletes with the appropriate training stress at the appropriate time. Under the direction of Dr. Matt Rhea, a world-renowned exercise and sport scientist/professional, the RACE Rx training staff implement a dynamic training and sports leadership program. RACE Rx Endurance Elite

Our competitive team composed of elite athletes competing in national and international competitions. This is an invite-only team with team members selected based on sports performance and potential. Current Team Members

Alicia Shay: Alicia is a 2-time NCAA 10,000m champion and the NCAA 10,000m record holder. She won the 2007 20km championship and currently lives/trains in Flagstaff, AZ. Alicia's perseverence and faith are among the most unique and respectable traits exhibited by an athlete. She lost her husband, Ryan Shay, to an untimely and tragic death during the US Marathon Trials in 2007 only a few months after they were married. After battling through emotional and physical challenges since then, she continues to pursue her love of racing. RACE Rx is proud to support and sponsor Alicia in both her competitive and professional endeavors.

Lisa Renee Tumminello: Lisa Renee is currently a competitive cyclist with a passion for exercise science and athletic training. She was awarded Best All-Around Rider (Masters) by the American Cycling Association in 2007 when she won the ACA Road Race and Hill Climb Championship. That year she was also the FIAC National Championship Hill Climb Champion and the ACA Rocky Mountain Cup Winner. Since then she has achieved 5 top ten finishes including 2nd in the USAC State Road Championships (Pro Women, 2008), 3rd at the ACA Pro Hill Climb Championship (2008), and 3rd at the ACA Pro Hill Climb Championship (2009). Lisa Renee is among a family of adventurists including her husband, Doug, who has climbed Mt. Everest and rowed across the Indian Ocean. Her love of training and competition represents the RACE Rx spirit tremendously.
